As the company has grown, so too has our environmental ethos. Economic and environmental impacts are analysed to inform all key business decisions affecting our overall strategy, day-to-day operations and company culture.
The nature of our business means it is essential that we manage all processes efficiently in order to protect the environment; work in a responsible, ethical and transparent manner; and make a positive impact on our communities.
We are proud members of Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and have strong business relationships across the communities in which we operate. We demonstrate our commitment to supplying maximum economic value through direct employment, providing work for contractors, sourcing goods and services from local suppliers and by supplying solutions that help our customers work more efficiently.
As a company, we are continually striving to reduce both our carbon footprint and environmental impact further, with assessments for all of our sites having been undertaken and an end of use restoration plan in place for all operating quarries within the business.
Our dedication to social responsibility has seen Hillhouse Group work closely with government bodies, such as Zero Waste Scotland, to help lower our carbon footprint through measures such as: Reintroducing waste products into the production process and implementing best available techniques

We work closely with customers to provide the most economical, efficient and environmentally friendly products to ensure jobs are completed to their exact specifications, without any wastage. Our experienced in-house technical team are on hand to provide support and advice for customers ensuring they get the perfect products to meet their project requirements.
In addition, we ensure we work with suppliers that share the same ethos and operate in an ethical manner in line with our own high standards.
